“The future belongs not to those who know the most, but to those who know how to think, adapt to changing circumstances, and innovate.”
Keeping these inspiring thoughts at the forefront, a District-Level Deliberation Workshop on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence was successfully organised at Meerut Public School for Girls. The workshop brought together principals, educators, and education experts from various schools for meaningful deliberations on the evolving landscape of education, technological innovation, and the development of future-ready skills among students.
The programme commenced with the *traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and presentation of saplings, symbolising the light of knowledge, growth, and positive transformation. Ms. Rachna Sharma, Principal, Meerut Public School for Girls, delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the significance of innovation, creative thinking, and technological proficiency in contemporary education. Their valuable perspectives provided meaningful direction to the participating educators and encouraged them to continuously enhance their pedagogical practices in keeping with the changing educational landscape.
A major highlight of the workshop was the presentation of case studies by teachers, showcasing innovative and effective applications of Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence in classroom teaching and learning. The presentations demonstrated how technology can extend beyond being a tool for simplifying instruction and serve as a powerful enabler of problem-solving, logical reasoning, creativity, critical thinking, and innovation among students.
The case studies also provided educators with opportunities to exchange practical classroom experiences and explore ways of integrating emerging technologies meaningfully into everyday teaching-learning practices. The deliberations emphasised that technology must be used purposefully to enhance learning outcomes and nurture learners who are confident, adaptable, and prepared for the demands of the future.
